1 1/2's on land and the little 1 coils are hard to beat at the right set.
if setting on a drowning rig it don't much matter what trap ya use

I too like 1 1/2 coils.
In blind sets in water I've caught
coon, m'rat, mink, fox and beaver.
Had a 60 pound beaver by a front
foot last season, on a drag. No prob.

I like a 220 in a cubby or a blind trail, got a couple of dozen coon cuffs that I am anxious to try

1 1/2 coils and 160 body grippers. And of course Yancys DP's where there are pets around.

I like a 11/2 coil spring with a dirthole,pocket,cubby any of those work good for coons
